Chag Purim Sameach from Queen Esther who hid the fact that she was Jewish during very difficult times!!! Purim is today! Queen Esther ultimately helped save ALL the Jewish people who were to be killed by a horrible man called Haman. (Seems odd to see this name. Perhaps if one swaps out the N and adds an S to his name it would seem far more of a contemporary story!) With celebrations including costumes, skits and songs, noisemakers, and gifts of food, Purim is definitely full of fun! Purim is a joyous holiday that affirms and celebrates Jewish survival and continuity throughout history.
