Mailbox Flopsy, An Easter Poem for Children

"Mailbox Flopsy"

Beneath the boxes, in shadows deep,
Lives Flopsy, rabbit, a secret to keep.
With twitching nose and ears askew,
She waits for carrots, her favorite chew.

Amidst the hustle, the postal throng,
She bounces, she hops, a merry song.
In her cozy nook, she reigns with glee,
A carrot queen, wild and free.

With every passerby, a hopeful glance,
For carrots, her love, to get a chance.
And when they come, oh, what a sight!
Flopsy dances in the fading light.

In this quirky realm, where laughter reigns,
Flopsy's antics, joy sustains.
Under postal boxes, she holds her sway,
Forever charming, in her own funny way.
