Hoot

A Muskoka family tradition! Last year I had the pleasure of attending Tina Turley's 'Hoot' (Help Out Our Town) and what a 'Hoot' it was! If you are in this part of Canada on June 16, 2012, I recco you attend. It is so down-to-earth and entertaining and a wonderful community cause!

In 2007 Tina founded and organized the Family Traditions HOOT with the help of one of her closest friends Karen Woods. There were many hours spent recruiting area bands, rounding up volunteers and organizing fun activities to ensure that people of all ages would have a fun time.

This is a day of long fun filled events for the whole family with the non-stop music covering all types of music from rock and roll to country to bluegrass, a playground area for the kids, silent auction, horseshoe tournament.
All items for the silent auction are donated from various businesses and people in the area. All net proceeds are donated to a local charity.

For more information on the event, or if you wish to make a donation, please contact tinaturley@live.com
