Canadian Polymer Dollars

Secure, durable and innovative notes. Very strange to 'the touch'. Not something you are used to. It takes time to grasp, fully, that they are 'real money'. Shiny. Modern. The Bank of Canada done well. Yes. Indeed. Canadian currency has come a long way. And it's going even further. The new polymer notes look and feel quite different, but they're a good change for Canadians. The Bank of Canada issued its first notes in 1935, and they included $25 and $500 notes. Before that, notes were issued by governments, banks (like the Molsons Bank, operated by the same family as the brewery), and even some businesses.
